Scope of Work
Responsible for successful integration, implementation, interoperability and certification testing of CDMA 3G Technologies with focus on Switching Core (Circuit Based, Packet Core) platform in Sprint’s NDL (Network Design Lab) facilities and FIT (First in Test) field implementation. Radio Access (CDMA, EVDO), Core IP Routing, and OA&M platform expertise is a plus.
Key Requirements
- This position requires strong technical knowledge of CDMA 3G Technology with excellent communication, documentation, and troubleshooting/issue resolution skills.
- Must be highly motivated, self starter with detailed knowledge of the technology, component architecture, Engineering requirements/limitations, network & signaling protocol mapping, message progression, and vertical feature capabilities.
- The individual should be an SME (Subject Matter Expert) on test strategy and test plan development and execution, as well as, product/platform evaluation and certification.
- This individual must be proficient in issue isolation, troubleshooting, and fully versed on the data requirements required to drive resolution and meet/exceed contractual SLA (Service Level Agreements) obligations.
- This position requires interaction with internal and external Customers on updates and issue resolution.
- This position requires on site NDL lab support and on site FIT support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Support for NDL (Network Design Lab) and FIT (First in Test) Product Integration, Certification, Trial and Interoperability Testing
- Provide Support for Problem Isolation, Data Gathering, and Solution Implementation
- Develop and Execute Test Strategies and Test Plans for Platform Evaluation
- Provide Support for Internal/External Sprint Customer Engagements/Demonstrations
- Develop and Implement Process Improvement Initiatives
