W2 Rate (all inclusive): $32.33 – $37.18/hr

Scope of Work

  • Manage all aspects of Telecom Equipment deployment from: Customer relationship, project plan of record, project schedule, cost, inventory, and identifying scope creep to the Customer Project Manager.
  • Ensure Client process adherence, compliance, and deliverables, metrics for these include quality assurance benchmarks, delivery cycle-time, and reduced backlog.
  • Flexibility in work schedule and daily responsibilities are key traits for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Equipment deployment with Service Providers and any other disciplines that interface with the Customer Network facilities, central office or Cell site properties and access.
  • Manage market level BTS cabinet(s) deployment activities including, but not limited to the following: Site Survey, BOM creation, Civil, Install and Integrate with other vendor equipment (DAS equipment)
  • Knowledge of RFDS, coordinating gathering CIQ info from Customer inputs for data translation team to generate ATND, STND, RND Submit Q-Track request to order integration scripts, REACT request to order license keys, submit sites for integration on scheduling tool
  • Coordination with Tactical team and managing latest MOPs, Go-No-Go calls with ASPs/SPs for Field Engineering services to Install and integrate the cabinets, coordination and submittal of MOP documents
  • Coordination and scheduling field engineering resources, creating customer service bulletin tickets for site integration with network integration center support Manages all request and changes to Data translation scripts Identify and manage all work required to complete and acquire notice to proceed, notice to proceed hand off to preceding team
  • Network equipment deployment problem solving encountered by the Service Providers
  • Ensure that the agreed implementation schedules and guidelines are followed and enforced
  • Submits regular daily/weekly/monthly progress data to the Market Leads, customer project managers, CFRs
  • Attend internal coordination and progress meetings, providing updates as needed
  • Ensure that quality of the Service Providers work is within Ericsson standards by having weekly/bi-weekly calls with ASP and having sites audited with quality auditors
  • Maintain a good working relationship with the Customers representatives and all disciplines involved in the project
  • Coordinates activities and ensure that all disciplines directly involved in the project are in line with the Project goals and objectives
  • Ensure to maintain proper inventory records for all the equipment deployment
  • Responsible to maintain on a daily basis all project milestone data in the tool of record (Continuus or Site Handler) Competencies
  • Knowledgeable of the following products: AXE 501, AXE 810 3G UMTS, Power PDU, and EPDU. BTS 2100 series, UMTS Node B 3100 series cabinets, BBU power, eNodeB B 6000 series, RRU/RRUW, DUG/DUW/DUL, Air Antenna, Metro Cell, RET/CCU
  • General understanding of Core network connectivity (MSN, BSS, RNC, MME/SGSN, SGW/GGSN, DAX- OC3) and RAN network connectivity- EBH, T1/ NIU to transport DAX, ETTCS, SIAD, Ciena, & Microwave backhaul
  • Will need extensive MS Office Suite knowledge to include MS Excel formulas such as VLOOKUP, pivot table creation, and charting
  • General understanding of RF propagation principals and general knowledge of RF sweeps for DTF & RL as well as PIM testing Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to guide on-site and remote technical teams toward quick resolution with troubleshooting principals Requirements/qualifications
  • Requires daily and weekly flexibility in both schedule and work responsibilities within a fast tempo and fluid work environment
  • Requires the ability to take charge and drive to resolution even in times of ambiguity
  • Requires basic project management principles and the understanding of “profit & loss” with strong financial acumen
  • Requires strong organizational skills and the ability to learn quickly and adapt to fast changing environment
  • Requires the ability to communicate and work with multiple personalities and professional skill levels effectively
  • Ability to follow all safety standards and complete approved OSHA 10 hour course for telecommunications industry
  • Requires Project Management experience in delivery of telecommunication services
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience if less than 7 years in specific industry
