The customer project manager is accountable for all activities in the Ericsson project model. This includes monitoring and controlling project progress and deliveries and focusing on the needs and priorities of the customer and other important project stakeholders. The CPM manages the project activities in the analysis, planning, establishment (execution), realization (execution), handover (execution) and the conclusion phase of the project. The CPM can have early involvement in sales and planning phase and supports the CFR in the sales process activities including cost estimation, development of the initial project timeline, resource planning and risk assessment. The CPM is responsible for monitoring and controlling all project financials in SAP supported by PSP and Business Controllers, securing proper planning and tracking, to enable PMO to have clear visibility of project status and financial results. The CPM is accountable for the Project Performance Reviews (PPR) and participates in the Steering Group Reviews (SGR) for projects they are assigned. The CPM also supports the operation organization’s KPIs and business targets.
