Job Description: System design and documentation of requirements for solution integration of client system and business services in their South-East region using the Adtran GPON product line and its element management systems; ALU 7450 and various network access devices (NAD).
Key Responsibilities / Functions: Duties include gathering and writing requirements, reviewing requirements internally and with customers, helping the testing team to translate requirements and derive test plans and test cases for applications and networks.
Desired Qualifications: Engineering services including requirements analysis, definition, and management for multiple features to be integrated as part of the Savannah network release.
Key Requirements
- Have direct knowledge and experience of Functional Analysis: function identification, decomposition and allocation of functions to subsystems in complex multi-technology projects;
- Have direct knowledge and experience in requirements engineering: requirements definition, management & traceability;
- Familiarity with IPTV delivery systems and infrastructure requirements, as pertain to access networks;
- As pertaining to the Adtran GPON product line:
- Working knowledge of VDSL2 & GPON technologies;
- Working knowledge of the access network and Ethernet access aggregation;
- Working knowledge of IP Services (including voice, data, and video) via FTTP topologies associated with SFU, SBU & MDU applications;
- As pertaining to managing the Adtran GPON product line:
- Working knowledge of the element management systems related to the above systems and technologies; specifically, Adtran and Ericsson element management systems (ECIL).
