W2 Rate (all inclusive): $33.47 – $37.07/hr

Responsibilities:
- The System Administrator II will be responsible for maintaining all UNIX systems for the data center operations team.
- Should have advanced skills in software and hardware troubleshooting.
- Prepared to respond to 24/7 monitoring alarms and work issues to completion.
- Work with other teams coordinating and planning for upgrades, patching, migrations and other system enhancements or changes.
- Have the ability to follow strict process and change control.
- Be familiar with high availability concepts.
- Have data center knowledge for racking and cabling servers.
- Have the skills to troubleshoot and track performance issues.
- Ensure the highest quality of work in supporting an enterprise level environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years related experience
- Platforms: Solaris 10|11, Red Hat Enterprise 5|6 File Systems: zfs, ufs, lvm, cfs, nfs, vxfs
- Hardware: Oracle T-Series, Oracle M-Series, HP ProLiant Blade, HP DL3xx, HP DL5xx
- Software: Bind, Solaris VM Server, Solaris zones, Live Upgrade, Oracle RAC, ODS (Solaris Disksuite) syslog-ng, multi-pathing (MPXIO, DMP), Veritas (vxfs, vcs)
- Scripting: Shell, Perl
